She is doing good. Off the morphine so no nne is trying to cut her in half anymore. Came of the bipap machine and is breathing real good. Now if she would just remember to eat slow so she doesn't keep bringing it back up into her lungs.

Don't ask LOl. The last day and a half have been pure well only thing I can say is Hell. We spent most of the day yesterday in the Er. Then finally 11:30am she finally gets a room. SO up we go upto 644 we get up there and the girl who is transporting her is talking to a nurse , seeing something is kinda wrong I go over to see whats wrong. THAT nurse totally ignores me and tells the girl " I Don't Want her here" I said to myself " YOU don't want here here. Shes assigned her YOU have no choice." Well we start to go back down and when we get to the Elevators the girl calls the person in charge of rooms assignments and Yes she is supposed to be there.

We go back to the same desk this time miss attitudes not there. and no one seems to know their left from their right so I ask for the head nurse. She comes and asked whats the problem I nicely said what was happening at this time the nurse sat down and I said NOT to quietly This nurse here has an attitude problem and should not be by patients. and I told her what had transcribed. Well short we finally got her tot he room she was to be in . She had her lunch and was ok. at 2pm I said I'm going I couldn't stay awake anymore.

Fast forward to 3:25. The Nurse calls and tells us that they are going to move her to ICU because her C02 levels is to high. so they do. pop goes up around 5. me Did a few things and fell asleep for few hours.
Pop comes home sometime after 9. THEN THE Fun begins. 9:30 we get a call from the nurse. Nancy wants to talk to your day. well shes got the BiPap on she cant really talk and he couldn't hear here. I called back and with help from the nurse found out was all about a puzzle book. 10:30 The doctor calls and says that he doesn't think shes going to Last the night because she is breeathing way to fast and yada yada. 11:00 The nurse calls. Nancy wants to talk you. ok. "Whats up mom" Her response " They cutting me in half" I kept telling her they are not going to cut you in half. Just calm down and relax and goto sleep. 11:30 the nurse calls again. mom wants to talk again. "THEY are cutting me in half" NO Mom they are not cutting you in half. " I'm scared to death" I know you are but you need to calm down and relax or you wont get better. LOL well in the end Pops at 11:30 went back to the hospital cause she wanted someone to be there cause THEY were going to Hurt her. so He still has not had sleep but finally came home after she calmed down and started to breath better.

She had a catscan for her cancer and the resolts are the cancer looks good. Not sure if that means it's getting smaller or what.

Well. 3am seems to be the good time to call paramedics. Mom woke to goto the bathroom and didn't make it. So weak couldn't stand anymore. We struggled for a good 25 minutes and we couldn't even het her up enough to get her to sit on the walker.so decision was made and the paramedics called. So we are still in emergency at st. Alexius at 8:15am. She has a fractured rib on left side but that didn happen tonite. She has gallstones but all looks ok. They are going to admit her.

She is doing as good as she can. She has to come to terms that she cant do anything anymore. She gets tired and hard to breath just walking 5 feet. She also needs to eat slower cause she aspirates into her lungs.

Well. She is coming home today. For how long this time.time will tell

I apologize I forgot to update been so busy. Well 2 Weeks ago this monday she went back into the hospital due to shortness of breath. She came home friday night to turn around and go back in sunday night. WELL she was supposed to come home lastnite but as she was getting dressed she had another cant catch my breath so nurse said nope your staying. She is doing ok guess her legs have swollen up again more then they used to. Will keep you updated promise.

Good news. She is coming home on wednesday. Though she thinks everything will be back to normal.not.

Mom is doing good. Still in manorcare not sure when coming home. Pops takes her to her radiation treatments every afternoon think she has either 6 more or 6 weeks more. Though she is doing good she could be better. She does her therapy twice a day and is bored the rest. She loves visitors so stop by or call

She is doing real good. Took her out lastnite to see my niece in a play. I don't think she will be in there that long.

She is doing great and is being released todaw but is not coming home but to rehab. The rehab place is manor care in Roselle where she was before.

She is doing as can be expected. She once again eating to fast took some food and 7up into her lungs. She doesn't eat like this at home don't know why she does her.

Well she is back in the hospital. The radiation treaments are making her real weak. Plus as normal for just about everyother month her c02 level rises. She is at Lutheran General and probably enjoying her vacation.

Mom is doing good. She starte chemo last week she goes in on monday and gets this pump that she is attached to for 3 days. She is also going to start radiation for the esophageal tumor. This should be fun it was the rad that put her in the hospital the first time.

Mom came home today. Not by the doctors choice they wanted her there for a few more days, but mom being stubborn said either release me thursday or I'll sign myself out. She is doing ok still a little weak. Hope all are having a Happy Thanksgiving

Well the results of the upper Gi she has cancer in the esophagus. Said its not connected to the original tumor in the neck but if by the picture it looks to be there. Good news tho she is still in the hospital she isn't she is now at the rehabilitation hospital.

Well. The good news is she is off pureed and onto normal food and tomorrow is going across the street to the rehabilitation hospital. She getting there.

She is doing good getting stronger everyday. Today physio therapy got her up and walked to the door twice distance was i'm guessing here 10 maybe 20 feet one way. So she getting there.
